Client Updates & New Options

ModDB, have a first look at what we're currently working on now! As most of you are aware, TI uses the same client as DTA meaning all the additions in DTA client are now also possible in TI, with the exception of some of their options that we have chosen not to adopt (except for Enable Ion Storms because Bittah Commander is a god damn genius and was okay with us using it). The conversion of the client is almost complete. Things such as Spectator mode, re-sizable windows, new game modes, co-op mode and tons of custom options are now a possibility. The graphics you can see are a work in progress and will be updated as time goes on. There are many options to come soon and we are open for suggestions. If you have an idea for a skirmish option, please share your suggestion with us, if it's plausible and a nice idea we will make it happen!Client Updates & New Options

Game Mode: Unholy Alliance

As requested by the players, Unholy Alliance will also be a game-mode in the next update. For those of you unfamiliar, Unholy Alliance is the mode where you are able to construct technology and weapons from both factions, GDI and Nod. Current set of game modes are the following: Default / Deathmatch Twisted Dawn Meat Grinder Unholy Alliance Ultimate Insurrection SurvivalGame Mode: Unholy Alliance
As requested by the players, Unholy Alliance will also be a game-mode in the next update. New Option: Base Props

- Do you like going the extra mile with building your bases? We've got you covered with the new "Base Props" option which enables some additional non-mandatory structures such as light posts and spotlight towers. This option was implemented with the decorative base building players in mind, these miscellaneous structures don't serve any real purpose, they're just there to look nice, however, Spotlight Towers have been altered to be equipped with some short range sensors to detect cloaked units, just to give them a little bit of a tactical usage. Don't care for the option? Simply don't enable it. It is off by default. :)New Option: Base Props

Nod: New 'Base Props'

Our new Base Props option was met with more positive response than we expected, so we decided that since so many of you enjoyed it, we'd begin expanding upon it. As some of you are already aware, there is a new patch in the works that fixes a few bugs in the last release, adds a few new things here and there and improves performance. This upcoming patch will also include some changes to our Base Props section, some of these include the following: - Faction-Themed light posts for GDI and Nod. - Themed and separate Spotlight Towers for GDI and Nod. - Numerous Faction Insignia structures. - New/Improved sidebar icons This naturally adds some extra scrolling length to the sidebars when Base Props is enabled, so we'd rather not add more clutter unless necessary, but feel free to share (reasonable) ideas with us. Aro: Hello everybody, I would just like to apologise for the delay on the TI update, there have been some unrelated issues occurring on my end thus a delay in the public version of the update. The update will be ready soon and I will have it released before the end of April (in a weeks time, maximum). Thanks for your patience and we hope you enjoy the update when it becomes available. We're trying to fit as many of our planned improvements into it as we possibly can before the upload. Nod: Extra Base Props
